USports Women's Rugby Championship
November 1st, 2022.
(WHITBY, ON) - The USports Women’s Rugby Championship kicks off on Wednesday, November 2nd at the University of Victoria! Three Ontario schools have qualified and will be participating in the tournament: The #1 seeded Queen’s Gaels, the #5 seeded Ottawa Gee-Gees and the #6 seeded Guelph Gryphons. Queen's will be looking to repeat as USports Champions after capturing the title last year in Kingston. Below is the schedule for the opening round matches:
Wednesday, November 2nd, Quarter-Final Schedule
#2, Laval Rouge et Or v. #7, Acadia Axewomen, 4:00PM ET
#3, UBC Thunderbirds v. #6, Guelph Gryphons, 6:00PM ET
#4, UPEI Panthers v. #5, Ottawa Gee-Gees, 8:00 PM ET
#1, Queen's Gaels v. #8, Victoria Vikes, 10:00 PM ET
All championship games will be streamed on CBC Gem (English) and USPORTS.ca.
