(WHITBY, ON) - Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce the “Game Plan” for the 2022 Ontario Senior Women’s Provincial Representative season.
Schedule
March 20th = Open Trial for Club Athletes - Whitby Dome 1pm to 3 pm
March 27th = Open Trial for Club Atheltes (Ottawa or Kingston-TBC)
April 2nd = Controlled Scrimmage for Selected Athletes at York University (8:00 am to 10:30 am)
Break for Club Engagement and NSWT Training Camps
Sunday May 1st = Ontario vs. Quebec (Sr. Women and Developmental) TBC
Sunday May 8th = Ontario vs. Quebec (Sr. Women and Developmental) Kingston or Ottawa
Break for Club Engagement and NSWT 4-Nations Cup Tournament
Sunday July 3rd = Ontario vs. Quebec (Sr. Women and Developmental) TBC
Sunday July 31st = Ontario vs. Quebec (Sr. Women and Developmental) at Guelph University
September = Branch Representative Programming / Fall Tournament Potential
Support for Club “One Calendar”
- March and April engagement assist with early club registration.
- Ontario Staff to attend University/College Winter-Spring 7’s Tournaments to evaluate athletes.
- May game dates prior to start of OWL Schedule.
- July games to be played on Long Weekends with no effect on League Schedule
