Blues Sr. Men 'A': Rosters announced for Rock 'A' Match

(LINDSAY, ON) – The Ontario Blues Senior Men’s ‘A’ side are set to face off with the Atlantic Rock ‘A’ side tonight in Lindsay. The two sides meet, as many of the players look to make their mark and earn a spot on their respective provincial rosters for the Canadian Rugby Championships. Kickoff from Lindsay Rugby Football Club is at 7:00pm. Following the game, the Lindsay Rugby Football Club is hosting an Outdoor Video Dance Party at 9:00pm.

In their last game, the Blues ‘A’ team welcomed Eastern Ontario Rugby Union (EORU) Selects to Burlington on Saturday, June 24. Though the game was close, the Blues held only one lead during the match. Late in the game and up 31-29, the Ontario side looked to be on their way to victory, but after a couple of costly turnovers, the EORU Selects scored two quick tries and won the game 41-31. EORU had a strong contingent of club players from the Eastern Ontario region. Two of their players were ultimately added to the Blues ‘A’ roster for their Friday matchup with the Rock: Rhys Davies (Kingston Panthers) and Nick Dee Lallo (Bytown Blues).
