(OTTAWA, ON) – Twin Elm Rugby Park was host to the 2017 Ontario Federation of School Athletics Association (OFSAA) Boys’ Rugby Championships from Thursday June 1 to Saturday June 3. Top high schools from across the province were represented in both the A/AA and AAA division. Many of the athletes playing also play club and/or Provincial rugby with Rugby Ontario.

Although the weather was warm, blistering winds became an issue throughout the three-day competition. Competition was fierce between Ontario’s powerhouse high schools and spectators were treated to first-class rugby in both divisions.

Rugby Ontario would like to congratulate all the participants who made it to the OFSAA Championships and those who won medals at the tournament.

Gold – Adam Scott Collegiate and Vocational Institute

Silver – Ashbury College

Bronze – St. Stephen Catholic Secondary School

AAA

Gold – Oakville Trafalgar High School

Silver – Saltfleet Secondary School

Bronze – Brantford Collegiate Institute
